2010 Summer fundraising update

Though it took a few weeks, we’ve finally completed the accounting on our 2 summer events and wanted to share the great news. Our first event, which took place in Brockton on 8/21, raised $5,488. Our second event, the 1st Annual Rawkstars/Urpomise Charity Softball Game added $8,065. Overall, $13,533 was raised for music education! Even more impressive, we collected donations from over 300 individuals in the last 8 weeks; our largest number of summer donors to date. Thank you to everyone who gave, volunteered, performed, cooked, raised money, setup, cleaned and assisted in every way. Together, hundreds of small tasks added up to a tremendous success story and we could not have achieved any of this without your support. You = Rawkstars!
